What should my child bring or wear?Athletes should wear athletic clothing and cleats or sneakers, and bring any sport-specific gear they have (glove, bat, helmet, cleats, water bottle, etc.)

What types of training programs do you offer?We offer a variety of training programs including baseball camps, football camps, speed and agility training, and private lessons in specific skills such as hitting, fielding, base running, pitching, catching, quarterbacking, kicking, punting, snapping, and footwork. Each program is designed to help athletes improve their skills and reach their full potential.

Where do the lessons take place?We partner with local cities and schools for our training spaces. Lessons are held in Auburn and Gadsden, Alabama. You will receive the exact location when you book a lesson.

What ages can sign up for a private lesson?All ages are welcome! We work with athletes at every stage—from kids as young as 4 years old just getting started, to high school athletes refining their skills, all the way to college-level players preparing for the next level. With years of experience and expertise, we’re equipped to coach athletes of all ages and abilities.

How do I sign up and what’s the cost?Booking is easy! You can sign up for private lessons on our website or download the Stovall Athletics App from the App Store, then just click "Book Now". Choose the day and time that works best for you. You can book lessons up to 4 weeks out. Spring and Summer are peak times for lessons, so book ahead if possible. Half hour lessons are $50 and 1 Hour lessons are $100. We do offer special deals for group lessons. For questions just call Tyler at 256-312-6052 or email us at stovallathletics@gmail.com.

Will lessons help my child get better at their position or sport?Absolutely. Every lesson is tailored to your child’s position, goals, and skill level. Whether it's improving throwing mechanics, hitting, footwork, speed, confidence or overall athletic performance, our coaching is designed to produce real progress.

Who will be coaching my child? What’s their experience?All lessons and camps are led by Tyler Stovall, former professional baseball player with the Atlanta Braves, SEC football player at Auburn University, and a master’s degree holder in Exercise Science Biomechanics. He brings a unique combination of elite-level experience, advanced movement knowledge, and a passion for coaching with purpose.

How long is each lesson, and how often should we come?Private lessons are typically 30 minutes or 1 hour, depending on age and focus. You can choose the length when you book online. Many athletes come weekly or biweekly, but we’ll help you find a rhythm that works best for your child.

What age should my child start private lessons or sports camps?At Stovall Athletics, we welcome athletes as young as 4 years old for private lessons, and our elite training camps typically begin at age 8. It’s never too early to build fundamentals, confidence, and love for the game!

Is this faith-based or just athletic training?Stovall Athletics is built on a foundation of faith and character. Every session or camp includes encouraging, bible-based messages and a focus on building not just better athletes—but stronger, more confident young men and women.

Who is the camps for?The elite training camps are ideal for middle school, high school, and college-bound athletes who are serious about competing at a higher level. Athletes should already have some experience in their sport and be ready to work hard and be coached.

What’s included in the camp experience?Athletes receive elite-level instruction, video analysis, a Stovall Athletics shirt, camp bag, free lunch, and opportunities to learn from pros. Most importantly, they’ll leave with improved skills, greater confidence, and a stronger mindset both on and off the field.

How do I sign up and is space limitted?Registration can be done through our website or app. Spots are limited to ensure every athlete receives hands-on coaching and individualized attention. We recommend signing up early—these camps can fill up fast!

It includes drills, position-specific coaching, and leadership development—with a focus on preparing athletes for their next level. Elite training camps we offer are as follows: Specialists Camp, Speed and Agility Camp, Baseball Camp, & Pitching and Catching Camp.

What makes the camp "elite"?It’s not just the talent—it’s the attention to detail, intensity of training, and mentorship from elite-level athletes. Every drill is purposeful, every rep is coached, and every session is built to push athletes out of their comfort zone and into real growth. At the end of camp, participants will have a chance to compete for awesome prizes like a new custom bat or autographed cleats from a pro!

Is this camp faith-based?Yes! Stovall Athletics is proud to provide Sports and Spiritual Coaching. Each day includes a short devotion time, uplifting messages, and a Bible verse that connects faith to everyday life and athletics. We aim to build both better athletes and stronger kids—on the field and in their hearts.

What is the Stovall Athletics 3-Day Sports Camp?Our 3-Day Sports Camp is a faith-based, multi-sport camp for kids ages 6 to 12. It’s all about having fun, making new friends, and building character. While we do teach sports fundamentals and movement skills, the heart of this camp is about confidence, teamwork, and growing spiritually. Campers choose two sports to focus on, enjoy daily devotionals, sing songs, and take part in exciting team-building activities—creating an unforgettable experience rooted in joy and encouragement.

What does a typical camp day look like?Each day includes sport-specific training in your child’s two chosen sports, daily devotionals, fun team games, lunch, and even time to sing songs and build friendships. It’s a mix of movement, meaning, and memories. We wrap everything around our core principles: Confidence, Attention to Detail, and Have Fun.

Stovall Athletics is rooted in sports and spiritual coaching, and we love sharing messages about confidence, character, and purpose through the lens of sport. What does a typical team session or mini-camp look like?Every session is custom-built for your team. We can lead position-specific drills, team speed and agility circuits, fundamental refreshers, or even an entire practice plan. We always include elements of leadership and confidence training, and we’re happy to work alongside your coaching staff or take the lead.

How do we book a team practice or minicamp and what does it cost?You can book by reaching out to us via social media, our website, or direct contact. Pricing varies depending on the length of session, travel, and number of athletes, but we offer flexible options to fit your team’s needs. Just tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll build something great together.

Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?Yes! You have two giving options: You can donate through the Stovall Foundation, our registered nonprofit 501(c)(3), and receive a tax-deductible receipt for your charitable contribution. Or, you can choose to give directly to Stovall Athletics and write it off as a marketing expense. Sponsors who go this route receive promotional recognition through our social media, event signage, and other branding opportunities. Either way, your support goes straight to impacting young athletes!

Do you offer scholarships for camps?Yes, we do! Through the Stovall Foundation and Partners, we offer scholarships to help families who may need financial assistance. Our goal is to make sure every athlete has the opportunity to grow—on and off the field—regardless of their circumstances. What does my sponsorship go toward?Sponsorships help cover the cost of camp for kids who may not otherwise be able to attend. This includes registration fees, meals (when applicable), and camp materials. It’s more than just a camp—it’s a confidence-building, life-shaping moment.
